Dave Matthews Band
Dos Equis Pavilion
Welcoming the summer concert season, Dallas greeted the Dave Matthews Band with excitement Saturday night at the Dos Equis Pavilion. Hitting the road in support of their upcoming release Come Tomorrow, Dave and company played to a near capacity crowd and didn’t disappoint their loyal fans.
Allowing the crowd more time with headliner, there was no opening band and Dave Matthews wasted no time tearing into his set. “Do you Remember”, a new song from their upcoming ninth studio album, got things started off with a familiar folky feel. The warm weather, cold drinks and an eager crowd made for a great night of live music. The audience erupted with excitement for “Crash Into Me”, one of their most radio friendly songs and certainly a fan favorite.
Weaving through their catalogue of songs, the set was well rounded featuring older songs like “Dancing Nancies” and “The Space Between” as well as new songs like “Samurai Cop” and “She”.
“Tripping Billies” ended the sweltering set as fans sang along to the very end of the encore. The Dave Matthews Band always puts on a great show and definitely gets the summer vibe going!
