Gas Monkey Live | Dallas, TX | May 4, 2017

The 90s couldn’t be more alive in this day and age. With bands like Green Day, Soundgarden, and Bush touring globally, and brining back all the nostalgia we love. The post-grunge British band announced earlier this year, their spring tour in support of their current record release, Black and White Rainbows. With Dallas being the first date of the tour, I knew it was a no brainer, and wasn’t going to miss it. Indeed all the people that nearly sold out the Gas Monkey Live thought the same thing, and showed excitement from the second doors opened. When the band took the stage a thunderous ovation from the thousands of fans filled the venue. Bush kicked off the show with a classic, Everything Zen. Once the crowd heard the first chords of the track they went insane, and were really for another amazing night in the Big D. Throughout the night lead singer, Gavin Rossdale mentioned how he loves performing in Dallas, and thanked the Dallas fans every time he had the chance. The band also performed new tunes, Lost in You, Mad Love, and Sky Turns Day Glo from Black and White Rainbows. Songs like Sound of Winter, Swallowed, Machinehead, and Glycerine were also played, it felt very nostalgic for everyone. The night ended with a straight up Bush classic, Comedown, I doubt anyone was shocked that was going to be the last song, but it was the perfect song to send eveyone home happy.
